07-C: Power-on Stalls

Knowledge

1) clear the area 2) climb to at least 1500 feet AGL

get into take-off configuration 1) power to 1500 & carb heat on 2) at rotation speed (55), carb heat off & high power

high power could mean: - full power or - > 65%

4) smoothly establish nose-high attitude, but at 25 degrees but not higher than 30 (that would be aerobatic)

induce stall safely 5) aileron neutral, (lots of right) rudder only 6) acknowledge stall signs

recover 7) elevator released 8) full power 9) climb back at v_x or v_y

10) in case of a spin (PARE) 1) Power idle 2) Ailerons neutral 3) Rudder full and opposite to the spin 4) Elevator released
